Can I Still Order From You If I Am Under 18?

Better Mushroom Spores requires all customers to be over the age of 18 to purchase any material from our website. Proof of age may be required, or proof of adult permission obtained if we suspect an order is placed by a minor. If you are under the age of 18 we simply request you get your parents written consent to buy goods from our catalog.

What Is The Best Way To Store Mushroom Spores?

Spore syringes can be stored at room temperature, free from direct sunlight, but they will last longer when placed in the refrigerator. Ideally, you would keep your syringe in its original sealed plastic bag and place in the refrigerator until you begin your research. If you are beginning your research right away (within a week or two), room temperature, out of direct sunlight, is just fine.

How Long Do Mushroom Spore Syringes Last?

High quality spore syringes from a reputable company can last in the fridge for 18-24 months. Some researchers, meanwhile, have claimed that they have stored spore syringes for multiple years and have found them to be viable for microscopic research.

What Is The Best Way To View My Spores Under A Microscope?

Spores are best viewed at 400x or higher magnification. Start by placing a small amount of dried spores into a small amount of water. Next, place a small drop of the resulting solution on a glass slide and cover it with a glass cover slip. Excess water can be absorbed with the corner of a paper towel to prevent the cover slip from floating and drifting. Pre-made spore solutions in hypodermic syringes can be conveniently dispensed directly onto the slide. Spores can be measured accurately using a stage micrometer (a glass slide with a tiny engraved ruler).

What Is A Psilocybin Spore Kit?

The contents of these kits can vary, but most will come complete with a magic mushroom grow box, a bag for colonizing mycelium, and a few other necessary accessories.

Are Psilocybin Spore Kits Legal In The U.S.?

It’s crucial to note that everything we sell at Better Mushroom Spores is legal. With the exception of California, Georgia, and Idaho, psilocybin spore syringes are perfectly within the bounds of the law in all states. We cannot and will not ship to customers located in California, Georgia, and Idaho.

How Can I View Psilocybin Mushroom Spores Under A Microscope?

To properly view spores under a microscope, place one or two drops onto a slide. Next, you must calibrate the microscope. Mushroom spores are measured in microns, meaning you’ll have to calibrate the microscope accordingly to view the microns.

What Are The Benefits Of Psilocybin?

Research continues to show that psilocybin could be used as a potential effective treatment for addiction and mood disorders. Studies have also shown that psilocybin may help advanced-stage cancer patients treat general distress, anxiety, and depression.

Will Psilocybin Ever Be Legal In The U.S.?

Most experts believe the first step toward legalization is decriminalization. Psilocybin advocates remain hopeful that this will eventually be the case across the U.S. Until legalization, though, it is still perfectly fine to study psilocybin mushroom spores, which is great news for professional taxonomists, microscopists, and mycologists!

What Is The Strongest Psychedelic Mushroom Strain?

Experts agree that Psilocybe azurescens is the magic mushroom containing the highest concentration of psilocybin. Psilocybe azurescens tends to bruise an almost black color. The darker the bruising, the more psilocybin there is contained within the fungi.

How Can I Identify Psilocybin Mushrooms?

Psilocybin mushrooms tend to share several of the same traits. Researchers typically look for mushrooms that feature a golden brown coloring. The stems will usually have a blue mottling when bruised. Psilocybe cubensis mushrooms will have a purple veil to protect the gills.

What Are The Differences Between Liquid Culture Mushroom Syringes Vs Spore Syringes?

The biggest difference between liquid culture mushroom syringes and “regular” syringes is that one has nutrition available while the other does not. Uncultured spore syringes are recommended for long-term storage of mushroom spores.
